Ram's Horn Handle

The Brown handle on the KA-BAR® Dog's Head Lockback is made from Ram's Horn. Ram's Horn is a natural material that provides variation in colour and texture to ensures each knife is unique. KA-BAR buffs and shines the ram horn to ensure your KA-BAR® Dog's Head Lockback provides a feeling of pride every time it is seen.

D2 Steel Blade

The Folding Blade on the KA-BAR® Dog's Head Lockback is made from D2 Steel and features a Flat grind. D2 steel is high-carbon, high-chrome tool steel often used for blanking dies. D2 steel has excellent edge holding ability but is very difficult to process. With a Rockwell hardness rating of 58-60, this Clip Point shaped blade is 3.0625 inches long and is stamped with KA-BAR.

Field sharpening the KA-BAR® Dog's Head Lockback is easy with its sharpened edge.
