The Brown handle on the KA-BAR® Dog's Head Trapper is made from Ram's Horn. Ram's Horn is a natural material that provides variation in colour and texture to ensures each knife is unique. 14-4CrMo Steel Blade

The Folding Blade on the KA-BAR® Dog's Head Trapper is made from 14-4CrMo Stainless Steel and features a Flat grind. 14-4CrMo stainless steel is wear resistant and provides superior corrosion resistance while providing superior wear resistance and edge retention. With a Rockwell hardness rating of 58-60, this Clip Point shaped blade is 3.0625 inches long and is stamped with KA-BAR.

Field sharpening the KA-BAR® Dog's Head Trapper is easy with its sharpened edge.
