Blizzard Survival Bag

Thermal Protection - Designed to offer personal thermal protection in the event of an accident, trauma or sudden cold situation. Manufactured from a strong metalised polyester, the Blizzard Bag is lightweight, compact and effective.

Using the Blizzard Thermal Bag

1. Open the package by tearing at the red pre-cut slit.
2. Remove from protective bag and open the blizzard bag (Remember that the head, neck and hands are also prone to heat loss. Insulate body from cold ground).
3. Step inside the bag, covering the whole length of your body
4. If you are lying on the ground, providing extra insulation between the bag and the ground will help

After Using the Blizzard Thermal Bag

1. Tug the garment to re-form the pleats and roll it up tightly (to prevent trapping air, start rolling the bag from the foot end)
2. When you get home, unpack the product and leave in a warm place to dry for a few days before re-packing for future use.

Preventing Hypothermia

• Prevent exposure: keep out of cold, wind and wet
• Replace wet clothing with dry
• Add insulation to clothing
• Consume plenty of warm liquids and food
• Use other people's body heat to help stay warm
